 My relationship with Christ Jesus defines the very essence of who I am as a person and how I live out my days. I seek to be open to the ways in which God leads day by day, teaching me to be more like Him and showing me where He would have me serve. By His grace, He has given me a hunger for His Word, a boldness to speak His truth, and a heart to see people everywhere live in the fullness of life that He has to offer. During my senior year of college, I had my first mission experience in Jamaica. After that one-week experience, I felt the Lord leading me back to Jamaica to live for the summer. At the time, I didn’t understand why He chose me—such a weak and broken vessel—as His messenger. Yet, the Lord strengthened me, giving me not just the power to serve Him at that time but a call and passion to serve Him in missions full time. As I see the brokenness of the world and its effects on human souls, I long to reach out to see not just every nation but every person come to Christ as His inheritance. My great desire, as the manager of the Baby Center is to demonstrate in very practical ways the love and compassion that Jesus Christ has for these dear children. |
