On Sunday, January 18, 2005 the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new Africa Gospel Church Baby Center. Now just one day shy of two years later, on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, the baby center was moved into their new three wing building. Although not all the construction is completed, the babies and staff are enjoying the spacious rooms of the first wing.

Even though the baby center has moved to a different building, the overall ministry and goals of the Baby Center remain the same:

•    To provide hope to each child through loving care
•    To enhance family growth through adoption and education
•    To stimulate church involvement through outreach opportunities
•    To promote societal stability through reintegration of the child into the community

The baby center is now housing twenty-three babies in the new building, but that number continues to change all the time. From September 2006 to Februrary 2007, the baby center has grown from nine babies to twenty-three! God is truly blessing the baby center and its ministry with these little ones.
